IP Protection and Dispute FAQs

Common questions about confidentiality agreements, evidence collection and patent or trademark enforcement in China.

NNN stands for non-disclosure, non-use and non-circumvention. The terms address how information may be shared or used and restrictions on bypassing the commercial relationship. We tailor the agreement to your cooperation plans and can also review an existing NDA or NNN agreement.

Send a short, non-confidential summary, the other party’s details and any relevant patent or trademark numbers, sales links or deadlines. We will tell you what else is needed. Detailed technical or commercial information can follow once confidentiality arrangements are in place.

Yes. We can collect evidence from online listings and physical outlets, including shops, distributors and exhibitions. We confirm which products or sellers to investigate, whether to buy samples and how to preserve the evidence. Notarization is considered where appropriate.

The quote lists the services, what you will receive, our professional fees and expected external costs. These may include sample purchases, notarization, translation and lawyer fees. If further work becomes necessary, we explain the additional tasks and costs for your approval before proceeding.

We check the relevant patent or trademark, the listing and supporting evidence against the platform’s complaint requirements. If a complaint is appropriate, we prepare it for your approval before submission. The platform reviews the complaint and decides whether to remove the listing.

Not necessarily. Depending on the evidence and your objectives, warning letters, platform complaints or administrative action may be considered first. If litigation is needed, we help organize the documents and evidence and coordinate technical questions with the lawyers handling the case. Their work and fees are confirmed separately.
